"Praise The Lord (Da Shine)" is having a broad resurgence across 140 country and platform charts as it approaches its seven-year anniversary, released May 25, 2018. The track was built on an unlikely creative axis — Rocky and Skepta wrote the entire song in London while, as Rocky described in a Genius Verified session, both were heavily under the influence of LSD — and the result landed as one of the more durable transatlantic rap collaborations of the late 2010s, pairing Rocky's languid trap delivery with Skepta's clipped grime cadence over a GarageBand panpipe sample that somehow holds. The two had built toward it through Skepta's Vicious EP and the ASAP Mob's Cozy Tapes Vol. 1, making the single feel less like a feature and more like a dispatch from an ongoing creative friendship. It charted on the Billboard Hot 100 on release and has remained a fixture of both artists' streaming catalogs since.
