The performance comes from the Argentine band's 1996 MTV Unplugged session — released as Comfort y Música Para Volar — where the original Gustavo Cerati composition was reworked with a guest vocal from Colombian singer Andrea Echeverri of Aterciopelados, per Letterboxd. Cerati, who died in 2014, remains the central figure of Latin American rock en español, and this recording has aged into the definitive reading of one of his most durable songs.
