The eighth cut on Lamp's 2008 album ランプ幻想 (Lamp Fantasy), it was written by guitarist Hiroyo Someya in 2001 as an exercise in fusing Brazilian harmony with Japanese lyrical form, per the artist's own account on X. Someya notes the song has lately found its largest audience abroad — particularly in the United States and China — a reversal of the usual domestic-first trajectory for City Pop-adjacent acts.
