Questlove's documentary Earth, Wind & Fire (To Be Celestial vs That's the Weight of the World), which premiered at the Tribeca Festival earlier this year, has funneled fresh attention onto the band's signature hit — now broadly charting today across 132 country and platform rankings. Alongside the film, Questlove told People that the song, once considered a throwaway, was inspired by the expected September birth of Maurice White's son. Written by White with Allee Willis over Al McKay's guitar figure, the track has never left cultural rotation, scoring the closing scenes of Night at the Museum (2006) and Disney's Cosmic Rewind coaster. Its return follows a 97-day absence — a documentary-driven resurgence rather than a random spike.
