One of Thai rock's enduring anthems is broadly charting again across 49 country and platform charts, back after a three-week absence. A duet between Bodyslam — the arena-filling band fronted by Athiwara "Toon" Khongmalai — and แอ๊ด คาราบาว (Aed Carabao), the elder statesman whose group Carabao defined the politically charged phleng phuea chiwit ("songs for life") tradition, the track pairs two generations of Thai protest-rock into a single perseverance ballad. The song has been a fixture of Bodyslam's marathon concerts, performed at their anniversary shows alongside guest vocalists per the band's history. Its lyric of pressing on through exhaustion gives it a long second life as a graduation- and hardship-season staple. The breadth of today's presence suggests a renewed streaming push at home.
